About Dunlap
Dunlap was platted in 1867, and was named for George L. Dunlap, a railroad official who served as president of the Chicago & North Western Railway and as City Marshall of Chicago.
Dunlap is located at the intersection of State Highways 30 and 37, in Harrison and Crawford counties, Iowa. It is a small town with a lot to offer. Dunlap is home to many shops, two gas stations, two bars, and a grocery store.
The population of Dunlap is 1,038.
